In this world, only human have the privilege to have the free will. Animals like dogs are not lucky enough to have one. However, it is so amazing that they are able to communicate to people in a peculiar way that made them “a man’s best friend”. If I’m not mistaken dogs are the most in demand to be a pet in most households worldwide. This is no wonder that there’s a beautiful lady I know choose to have dogs in her house.
Of course, nowadays it’s normal. We heard that a lot of female local celebrities got dogs like Heart Evangelista, Jolina Magdangal and many more. Out of curiosity, why they choose dogs as their pet and out of my respect to people who can take good care of dogs I decided to ask one of them. I find her amazing, caring, good friend and beautiful person. She is no other than Nessa – a wife of my college friend. I know only few people can do what Nessa can in taking care of dogs.
At the moment, I asked her, why you do like pets most specially dogs? She told me that she really don’t know why she likes dogs a lot. It just that she feels happy too every time she sees a healthy and happy dog. In fact, she confessed that there’s an unexplainable satisfaction she feels.
That’s maybe the reason why she got three puppies today in her house. Do you know how she got them? She told me that it was all out of plan. First, she got Hatchi –her first dog that she got together with her partner Nat-nat. They got it when they were in the clinic and coincidentally they saw a puppy seller in the street. It is where the love for dogs reborn because when she was still in 4th grade she already had dogs. After Hatchi they got Dougal from the same puppy seller and Summer from her friend.
So, now that she got 3 puppies I wonder how it changed her regular daily routine. When I asked this question she simply says that it’s stressful yet happy at the same time. It changed in a way that she has additional responsibilities like feeding them thrice a day; bathe them 4 times a week and then daily bonding moment within the day. Of course, you also have to clean their mess every time they become so playful.
Now, let’s find out if after these responsibilities she still plans to add them more. Well, this beautiful lady who got the tender love and care for dogs answered me without hesitation. Her answer was, “Well, if given the chance, why not? I love dogs in the first place… for me when you love a dog; it is easy to love two, three or more dogs…Take note, just dogs no other pets for now.”
Hhhmmm… Does she have any secrets in caring her pets? You know what pals, she laughed at me when I asked her about her secret. She confessed that she don’t have any. In fact, she told me that, “if you love dogs everything will be okay. You’ll still be happy even you’re already stressed out, you’ll still prioritize them. You just become uncomfortable if you know that your dogs aren’t fine.” Well, she got points on that. We know people usually find ways just to get or accomplish things what they really want to.
Moving on, I heard that she got pets when she was still a kid so I asked her about it and their names. Like she said she got a dog at 4th grade then got 3 mice and 3 guinea pigs from her uncle. She finds them very cute but she just can’t remember their names. (Well, this reminds me of “Hamtaro –small hamsters big adventures…”)
Now, that we know she likes dog a lot and small creatures too like mice and guinea pigs. Don’t you know that there is one animal that she hates? It’s the cat –not her type. Why? It is simply because she doesn’t like the smell of cats and she thinks they are the dirtiest one. (Hmmm… Is there any truth with this one? C’mon cats, defend yourselves.)
Of course, I won’t end this post without asking her message for other dog lovers and for those who wish to have dogs as pet. Her answer was,
“Well, to all dog lovers stay kindhearted to your dog. To those who wish to have dogs make sure it’s not just for fun or out of jealousy. Remember, having pet is not an easy responsibility and pets are not toys they are God’s creatures. They need love and care. For me, looking my dog growing healthy and happy is an achievement.”
