Today, I am much honored to have the chance to present to
you an interview from one of Cebu’s enthusiastic travelers. His name is Mark,
not the one who co-founded the Facebook –Mark Zuckerberg It’s Mark A. -maybe
there is something special on this first name for they seem to get what they
want in life in the most tasteful way. To get the ball rollin’, check this out!
1. When was the
moment that you realize you like traveling?
Last year, way back 2010. Nakaingon ko nga nindot man diay
ning mag travel travel ta kay daghan ta maadtoan nga lugar...Hehehe.
2. Can you still
remember the first place you've visited? If yes, where and why?
Siquijor and Dumaguete
Siquijor kay matud pa nila the island of healing, I don't
think so if it's true...Lol. I keep on asking jud kong unsa jud ang Siquijor.
Niadto pa gyod ko ani kay during Holy Week..Hehe. As you knew daghan daw
mamarang but for me, I don't really believe sa mga ingon ana. Medyo expensive
lang gyod ila food didto.
Dumagute, ang akong giganahan sa Duamguete kay ila Robinsons
Place kay daku pa sa Cebu. Wala gyod kaayo ko nakalaag sa Tourist Attractions
sa Dumaguete City. Dumaguete City, is a nice place to live in kay peaceful,
wala kaayo pollution, disiplinado ang mga tawo.
3. What do you
usually do before setting a travel schedule?
I am newbie pa gyod sa mga travel travel. Before setting a
travel schedule, I usually do some research about the places and their reviews.
Of course ang budget kitaon usa if makaya ba...Hahahaha. Kong okay gani if nice
ang place then I would go...go lang nang go..Hehehe. If possible, print your
itinerary para sayon nalang ang travel or you can bring a Map.
Ang ako pod ang safety sa lugar kay basin pataka lang ko ug
adto if inig abot nako didto naay mga MILF. As a traveler safety must come
first.
4. So far, how much
is your minimum travel budget? And how much is the maximum budget?
Depende sa lugar if within Cebu Province barato2x lang gyod
siya unlike sa kadtong outside Cebu.
Minimum budget nako sa Cebu is 1000 and Maximum is 2000.
Pero if lagyo na gyod kaayo 2000-7000. So far akong focus
karon is Visayas area lang usa, I want to explore more usa sa Visayas kay gusto
man gud ko mo adto sa lugar nga wala pa kaayo ma discover sa mga tawo..Hehe.
5. What is your
purpose or objectives of all your travels?
Siguro as a traveler lahi2x ug purpose. Para nako, I want to
explore all over the places not only here in the Philippines, if possible tanan
lugar sa kalibutan ako gusto adtuon. Gusto pod ko maka share sa uban and I can
help also to promote our tourism industry for local and national nga mga
tourista.
6. Today, what
country that you'd like to visit someday? (If any)
Ang USA and Canada mao gyod ni akong pangandoy sa akong
tibuok kinabuhi..Hahaha.
Libre raman ang mangarap, who knows someday makaadto diay
ko..
7. When are you going
to stop traveling, any plan? (ehehehe. it's not that I want you to stop)
Stop traveling? I won't, never ko mo stop basta buhi pako.
Basta naa lang ko budget, dili gyod ko mohunong ug travel2x.. Bahalag mahurot
akong kwarta, dili gyod ko mo undang ug travel. Dili gyod mabayaran ug sapi
imong kalipay.
I want to share this quote "It is not how much we have,
how much we spend, but how much we enjoy, that makes HAPPINESS".
8. Do you have any
advice or tips for newbie in traveling to far places?
Ako newbie pod ko, mangayo pako advice pod sa uban. But I
would give some tips for the newbie just like me.
If you want to travel sa mga layo nga lugar. You should
always search the places from the internet kong okay ba ang lugar, dili ba
kuyaw kay ako safety must come first, this is really important to me. Dili gyod
ko pataka ug som-ok sa usa ka lugar kay basin uroy daghan didto mga dautang
tawo.. Killed ta dili oras..Hehe.
If possible try to ask some of your friends if nakaadto naba
sila ani nga lugar para naa pod idea sa lugar kong okay ba siya. Dili gyod
pasagad ug sakay kay naa uban overpricing kaayo sa pasahe kay abi tourista ta,
mahalan dayon ug pangayo mura gyod dili mga Pinoy which is not good actually.
Kong toa mo sa ka lugar ayaw mo pagkiat-kiat, ayaw mo pataka
ug tagay2x kay wala ta kabalo sa atong palibot kay kita mga tourista humot ta
sa dautang mga tawo.
Be sure nga sakto ta ug bala I mean sakto ta sa budget..
Ayaw mo pangaon sa mahalon nga kan-anan. Daghan man mga barato nga nagtinda ug
food nga barato lang nya lami pa gyod ug kanang limpyo pod.
Pangutana gyod mo kong asa makatipid sa byahe by Air, By
land or By sea. Kay aron maka save mo sa pliti.
If ganahan ka maka save sa budget much better if daghan mo.
Para nako gusto rako mga 3-4 persons lang sa group kay dali ramo magkasinabot
kong asa inyo route, smooth kaayo inyong pag travel.
Always bring water gyod nga naka distilled ayaw mo pataka ug
inom ug tubig kay wala ta kabalo if limpyo ba gyod na inyong giinom.
Inyo pod pod e search ang lugar kong naa ba daghan didto
namaligya ug pagkaon most specially sa mga Islands nga walay mga Carenderia
didto or Sari-Sari Store, you must bring your own food.
And we should follow all the rules and regulations sa usa ka
lugar dili ta pa badlong.
Na experience naman gud ko ani nga nagpabadlong ko but I was
aware naman pod adto nga dili gyod pwede mag flash sa imo digicam/camera while
capturing sa Tarsier. Kadto wala gyod ko kabalo adto nga naka on diay ang Flash
ba. Once nga ma off diay to nya inig on nimo balik kay ma on ang Flash ug
balik. Karon pag capture nako sa Tarsier nakurat intawon ang Tarsier. Guilty
gyod ko kay basin mamatay nya to siya tungod sa kong gibuhat kay sensitive man
diay na sila ug flash sa camera that could harm sa health nila.
One thing pa diay, kong inig abot ninyo sa usa ka lugar nga
walay gyod ka stayhan, you can go directly sa church/convent mohangyo sa
incharge didto nga adto usa mo matulog for you safety or you can ask basin naay
shelter home diay sila for the travellers nga wala na jud ka stayhan.
Kong wala mo katuod sa usa ka lugar, don't hesitate to ask
sa mga tawo didto pero ayaw mo pangutana sa mga tawong bystanders kay basin
binoangan lang mo. Adto gyod mo ask ug info sa mga tawong kasaligan para dili
mailad.
Lastly, don't forget to pray before the adventure begins.

other countries?
You should travel in the Philippines coz it’s more fun in

Philippines that need to be discovered nga mas nindot pa sa other countries.
