Avon – Most Accessible Business for Newbie

Ever heard of AVON the company for women? If yes or haven’t heard of it then this post is for you. During the younger days of my life, I’ve seen AVON as the famous direct selling company of cosmetics. Well, today they do have personal care, apparel, accessories and nutritional products. Name any health and beauty products and you will find it in Avon. Their products are carried by their women dealers – young and old. 

The way I see it is you can be with Avon when you are at your legal age. However, the pride of some of our young ladies just smirks in the idea of selling. To our young ladies whether you admit it or not, you’ve experienced that.  Just like you when I was young, I don’t appreciate the art of selling and the earnings I would get from it. What I don’t know, I let the pride hinders me to learn things on how to be in the business world when I get old. In short, I have no interest in business at young age and now that I am almost 30 I think running my own business is a good idea.  What do you think?

To fulfill this dream of running my own business, I joined Avon (guys can join too). The business opportunity they are giving does not need a big sum of money. Plus, I don’t have to quit my current job to be successful in running this business. All I need are requirements during the registration, connections and the brochure.  After that, you are free on how you plan to succeed in this business venture. Having no experience of handling business is not easy. Good thing, I have learned strategies on how to give good customer service to my clients. Despite of being good at it, expect challenges in the way. In fact, I have my own experience where if not aide early may cause failure to my new business. And what’s that? Well, it is the “not so good in convincing people” talent of mine. I think that is expected from a timid person. But, last week my eyes were opened when one of my customers emphasized its importance.  Now, I am working on it.
