Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo? - Reflection

“Bakit hindi ka crush ng crush mo?”

Ever been asked this question before? Probably, you have never been personally asked this question. Hence, I believe only a witty and funny Ramon Bautista can dare do that. He did ask many people that question (a bit rude but an honest question) via his book entitled, “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?” Probably, due to that catchy title someone got interested to bring the idea into film. Look at that! Don’t you think it’s a brilliant idea? I think it is!

Due to my curiosity and how the movie title affects me (by experience, lol), I watched the movie with girl friends from college. Let us just say, Girls Day Out moment. I don’t know why they agreed with me to watch the movie. Heheheh. Probably, they wanted to know answers too. Girls, if by any chance you read this. I hope you already realize, why?

We expect the movie to be funny and romantic since it’s a romantic comedy movie. I really admired Kim’s natural way of making people laugh. Kim and Xian’s tandem is really great as they portray their respective roles. Of course, Ramon’s presence added “funny” factor to how the movie flows. Being the author of the book “Bakit hindi ka crush ng crush mo?” he presented solutions to some relationship problems.

It is funny yet values of how we deal with our relationship are there. This movie is good for people whose relationship to someone special or even family relationship is into test right now. We can even make a reflection from the movie in order to avoid “complicated” relationship status in our Facebook profile.

Now, why do you think your crush don’t like you? No spoiler this time, get up and treat yourself by watching the movie.

P.S. We are never capable of loving someone if we fail to love our self first.  The same goes with happiness. It is a perfume where you can't pour it on somebody else without getting a few drops on yourself.

Note: “Bakit hindi ka crush ng crush mo?” = “why your crush don't like you?”
